Friday Treadmill Scarf
Today I did the treadmill inside again at the gym. This time I used the Lion Brand Woolease Thick and Quick. I was able to finish a scarf at a nice round time of 1 hour 20 minutes (80 minutes) and cover 10 miles. So yes, knitting at 8 minutes miles. Again this was 12 stitches across and finger-needle knitting. The Woolease officially has 106 yards, so it is longer than the Hometown USA yarn and therefore took longer to knit out the whole skein of yarn. Again I attached a waist pack to the treadmill and looped the scarf around the handrails when it got long enough to drag down close to the treadmill's belt. It was difficult to pull the scarf through the feed yarn every other pass.
