My First Walking Finger-Knit in NYC
I went to NYC on a tour with my students. On our walk across town to visit an alumna graphic designer at Martha Stewart I pulled out some yarn to try my first finger-knitting-while-walking. It worked! Despite the busy metropolis streets I managed a good little scarf without incident. It is actually easier with fingers than needles because I can feel where I am on the stitch instead of looking and can keep my eyes on the action and traffic around me.
